Photograph Negatives

found some whilst going through a trunk of old picture swith y grandparents, couldnt make out the photo's so took them to ASDA to get them developed..

Sadly they couldnt do them as they were 'too square' (not quite sure what that technically means).. any way i had an idea.

Take a picture of the negative using my smart phone then apply the 'negative' filter.. presto one picture!

Gotta love modern technology for some things, really made my grandma's day seeing some old pictures she had forgotten about xx

u can get a scanner as well to do that

Scanners Are rubbish I tried to scan a mirror and it didn't work

She must have had the films developed else she wouldnt have the negatives.. just a shame they were lost.

Still spent a few hours with her refreshing memories.. my uncle in flares will be a sight i'll not forget haha

Maplins and look up negative scanner I think you can get them for under £40

Is there no specialist companies that can develop them? Maybe have a look on line? It's just a thought......

It wasn't developing the OP wanted, but printing.

Aldi had a gadget for negatives it scans them on to your pc cost about £19 used it loads of times for negatives I have found lying about in draws from years ago
