London

Sarah Lancashire is a cracking actress. The role she plays is powerful and vulnerable and she plays it perfectly.

I've not been riveted to a series like that for many years.

Spalding

This was by far the best drama I have seen for ages...beats Broadchurch Sarah Lancashite played that part brilliantly.

loved it! Thought it was brilliant and she was fab in it! There have been some class British dramas on recently for a change! Also love where it was filmed as my mate lives up in Hebden Bridge! Off there myself in a couple of weeks!

Last tango in Halifax was also brilliant. The woman who wrote that wrote happy valley with Sarah in mind for the part of Catherine

Brilliant how the end linked back to the opening scene in the first episode (foamed). An absolute must watch series on iPlayer for anyone who missed it.
