Don't you just hate when you call customer service, and they fail to solve your problem, and then conclude the phone call with a "anything else we can help you with"....
How about solve the fucking problem I rang up about in the first place ! |

At the moment. Driver Dream Days. (race car experience)
I paid £300 for a voucher, I was unable to book any dates suitable.
I am then told it is a £50 refund fee but as a gesture of good will, it could be £25.
For a fucking voucher cancelled within 7 days!!!!! |

Well said -- And then they ask you to fill out a customer satisfaction survey. |

without dought THE most useless bunch of tossers. Was left without a phone on an upgrade for 2 months because of their ineptitude .call almost everyday to get it sorted and they had the cheek to try and charge me for a phone I didnt have until I told them I was leaving and id see them in the small claims court , suddenly a phone appeared and all charges dropped . Funny that |

Scottish Power, set of cunts.
Completely fucked us over, they offered to lower our monthly payments then decided they'd gone too low and said we owe the 800 kwid. I promptly cancelled direct debit, next thing there is a collections agency chasin me. I told the to get stuffed and complained to the ombudsman. I've spent last thurs, Friday and Saturday trying to speak to um. They claim they are open till 10pm yet at 7pm you get 'the office is now closed message'
I hate them and all that work for them. I bet no one who does is on here.... Cunts!!! |

"EfuckingE who are about as helpful and a chocolate teapot....useless bunch of twats "
I've just shafted EE at CISAS.
Penalty free cancellation
All payments since February to be returned
£100 compensation.
Get in!
According to them they were changing the terms and conditions of my contract for my benefit, yeah right. Luckily CISAS saw through all the bollox they spouted. |

but HMRC have significant challenges
Which, very diplomatically, means they're crap. "

Sounds like something my wife tried to book a couple of years ago, a tank-driving day.
Do you think we could book a suitable date for me?
Nope, they were about as helpful as someone trying to win the gold medal for being awkward, tossers!
Took us 18 months to get her money back. |

Talk talk seem to be winning. After spending lots of wasted time talking to a robot with a dodgy accent from British gas and getting nowhere fast. I have just had a call back to see if I was satisfied with the service. FUCK OFF!!!! |

A few years back I remember when people just competed for prices and people normally went to the best one as service was normally good for all of them. Now most companies are shit in terms of service. Sky/PC World and any other Gas/Phone provider. Gone are the days where you can deal with a person head on if someone pissed you off. Wimps I call them as well as con merchants. |

At the minite I'm going with Halfords. Took my mountain bike in for service, gave me it back all sparkly and oiled. Only they'd not reattached the front brakes. Cue the nearly crashing at the bottom of the hill. When I went back the 12 year old 'customer service' assistant laughed.

Unfortunately I think all big companies are as bad as each other, they all suck you in with cheap deals, and then just increase prices knowing you are in a contract. They never want to help when things go wrong and they do not seem bothered about wanting to keep customers.

JD Sports for a shop they sold me a pair of trainers when I got home they had put two different sized shoes in the box. I took then back to another branch and they would not change them.
In the end it got sorted and they gave me £50 after two letters.
Over the phone SKY kept failing to collect my direct debit and cutting off my service I got 6 months free in the end.
It does pay to send in written letters of complaint |

Sucking people in is what good advertising and promotions are meant to do but you are right about BIG companies, some are too big that they dont care about a minor loss or are too big that the customer gets lost TMobile upped my bill for no particular reason so i left them and went to three instead.
But my vote goes to NPower for being complete fukwits who dont know their own rates and are unable to do simple maths in their head but decide to lecture me instead. Took me 6 months abd countless letters before they realised they over charged me & to make it worse offered me £25 as 'good will gesture' numptys!! |

Maplan, or more precise my local branch.
Bought something couple of years back, the connection on it was a bit dodgy making it unusable for 60 % of the time. Took back to store 2 days later. Spoketo manager company policy says i need to send it away for testing before i can refund, ok, can i get a replacement to tide me over, no wait for it to come back and that's about 6 weeks. Seemed to think that company policy overrode uk consumer law. Told him to shove it, never been in since. And a few pals have had similar experiences as well.
HBOS
OMG how bad is their call menu, press all the numbers to get the the right department, call gets answered after a wait of 30 mins, explain problem. then they say ill connect you to the correct department, and that's another 30 mins wait. so who the Beeping Hill are you then, what's the point of telephone menu if the first person i speak to has to transfer the call to the correct department anyway.

I very rarely lose my rag with customer services types; the closest I have ever come was when a shop assistant in a lingerie department responded to my query as to whether or not they had a plunge bra in my cup size in stock (I knew they made them from the website) by informing me I should buy a minimiser bra instead. Bitch! |

"Any customer support/help line that charges the customer calling it.... sucks " I think that despicable practice is being outlawed and they will have to provide a standard rate no now or shortly. My award goes to vodafone. Leaving for EE but the comments here are scaring me. |

Sentinel Housing Association.
Carphone Warehouse.
NPower. Who are an atom's breadth away from me binning them completely.
MyHermes who think an arranged collection for a certain day means "if they feel like it at the time".
NPower. Getting a second mention because one really wasn't sufficient to express just how crap they are.
Thames Water. One of the good things about moving to Norfolk was leaving Thames Water behind.
A small performance auto parts company in N. Ireland, the proprietor of which wishes he'd never heard of me now. |

I've had good experiences with Orange. They've just shifted me to an EE account so I hope that doesn't mean things are about to go downhill. |

I think they all know that they are as bad as one another, they may lose your custom but they will gain the customers of the other big companies that have been treated badly. We had an issue with our energy company, months of hassle trying to get them to admit they had screwed up. They offered something similar, so I told them to stuff it and reported them to the ombudsman. |
