A great start to the week

My Monday morning got off to a great start! I just received the most offensive message I've ever had on fab 
And no, I won't be quoting it or hinting at it or who sent it.
I'm offended but it hasn't upset me (anyone who has met me will confirm that my self esteem Indy just bullet-proof, it's missile-proof  ) but it certainly takes the shine of the beginning of the week.

You know me cheeky, would take a lot for a personal comment to upset me - in fact only a personal comment from someone who's opinion I care about would get to me.
But my flabber is well an truly gasted!
I'm still in bed and have got a brand new, much anticipated book waiting for me so my week is improving. |

Morning dog walk in the rain, at work for 5am, loads to sort from the weekend so mines been pretty crap so far but 'things can only get better' as they say xxx |

Been up since half 4 with toothache so my week hasn't started off great and a trip to the dentist is not gonna help lol. Apart from that uni had finished so got lots of free times on my hands   |

Apparently a (polite) refusal invites abuse and offensive messages. 
Anyway, skating close to the forum rules here and this thread is not to discuss what was said but to find out how your week is going so far.

Yeah me too although it's my wisdom tooth so can't see it being easy lol. Hopefully it's sorted and can get a meet in this week  |

I've got over a hundred squares that need joining that I keep pretending aren't there...
Though sewing my toga for this weekend is a bit more pressing. |

My Monday is going good.despite a hell of a long shift at work today.
Im still smiling from a great weekend.
only 3 day working week this week and xtasia visit this coming weekend.
So im a happy bunny today

Started off with a 5am panic attack. Babysittingy grandson all day while my granddaughter has an op on her arm. Don't think I can feel much worse so it has to get better |

A little sad as its my daughters birthday today. And its the first time in 23 years that iv never seen her on her birthday. I suppose it sunk in she has flown the nest  |

Think this blanket is gonna need 250 hexagons total but I'm doing them in batches of 50 or it'll seem horrendous x |

aww mine is 21 and is showing no sign of checking out from Hotel Dad in the near future... although I have missed several of her recent birthdays as from the age of 17 she tends to go on holiday with her mates to celebrate it as it is at the end of July |

Inset Day? is that just where the Staff scab on an extra day off to make a long weekend after the school holiday? Excuse my ignorance as my youngest has been out of the school system for the past 5 years or so |

Been in absolute party mode since Thursday night so eyes were bleeding when the alarm went off at half 5 this morning. FML work is gonna be a struggle today!! |

I didn't sleep well again.
My mum rang at 8.40 and woke me up. That was good because I was due at an appointment at my surgery at 8.50! I'd slept right through my alarm. I got there just 3 minutes late.
My blood pressure was 120/70, which is normal. It was slightly up, (still normal range but high for me), a few weeks ago so I'm relieved it's back down.
The appointment went swimmingly and I got sorted what I needed sorting. And I found I hadn't gained back the weight I lost earlier in the year, when I thought I had. I've not lost any more, (due to lack of consistency in terms of effort), but I've not regained any either.
So, positive so far, despite the shaky start.
It's warm and bright here, which always helps.
I have chores to do that I don't like but that's nothing new!
Pretty good as days go, so far, especially for a Monday. |

I have done that too, also not taken them in when I should have, thinking it was a teacher training day |
