Anyone else struggle with the body clock etc?
I'm hitting week 2 now and for the life of me can not sleep during the day, going to work wrecked! Hope it's gonna get easier! |

Permanent, honestly its killing me! It's a new job so I have to just get on with it however it's really effecting me!
Gonna speak to some of the lads and ask them what they do!

worked constant nights for 3 years. it fucks you up. had no probs sleeping during the day. stayed up till lunch time then slept til about 8. weekends were a nightmare though |

Yeah this weekend has been a killer for me, really bizzare this staying up milarki! I finish at 10:30am so I'll try and stay up a bit later then eh? Rather than diving straight into bed!
Dunno if this is what I want to be doing all week fucking around at nights lol |

I've work nights for nearly 6 years & find it hard to sleep daytime, I still drink coffee. I don't drink coffee when I first come in from work only water, I found out having a bath/shower before bed wake me up to much so just have a wash till I get up. Blackout curtains are good. Noise is the worst of all during the day I found putting the tv on to settle down with helps me sleep it somehow blocks other noise out (most) the summer is the worst time. I get between 4/5 hours sleep when working nights. You will find your ways I'm still trying different things nearly 6 years later, but you will find your best way. Good luck working nights isn't easy. |
