you really could just slap the daylights out of them for sheer stupidity!! there enough ad campaigns etc to be aware and also everyone knows how delicate a babies skin is!! they should be charged with neglect!! cx |

"were they chav's?"
No i read it in paper too, don't think the mum spoke english as she couldnt understand what people were saying to her about her child burning so people on the beach had to get the police, but that no excuse any parent knows that kids burn in the sun. |

I don't have any kids of my own (well not that i know of) and i know how sensitive their skin is to sun.
I cannot believe how the parent never used protection and covered up the poor kid.
Some people are just not fit to have kids.

"I read that too...wasnt even the parents that got him of to hospital. he was apparently still on the beach when he was removed (was it St Johns?)"
A member of the public notified the police.

I agree, ignorance is never an excuse in my mind...that child must have been screaming it's lungs out in agony...doesnt bear thinking about!
Asides from which, parents are a lot more aware nowadays, we get hitby all kinds f literature at th doctors hospitals and through their health carers about how to look after them |

absolutely shocking that this can happen with all of the campains etc
even withut the campaigns surel ny parent would know that having a child out in the kind of weather we had this week is insanity - just because they fancied a day out at the beach |

It always amazes us that if a perfectly decent couple want to adopt, they have to fulfill all manor of criteria and still, like as not, get turned down for something stupid.
Yet any half baked imbeciles can breed their own, even though they shouldn't be allowed to raise even a pimple.

Language barrier or not. I think the clue would have been in the blisters

This made headlines on our local news.
The mother was found by the police sleeping on the beach with her baby along side her. She was from london, (there was no mention of her not speaking english). A local news reporter was there at the time. The case has been given to her local police and social services for a full investigation.
On the same day a dog was left in a car all day in Bournemouth. It died later that day.
What is wrong with people?
I used nearly a whole bottle of sun cream on our 7 year old this weekend. |
