I had a lovely Buddleia that attracted butterflies in my garden. I'm not fond of lots of little bedding plants in rows. I like bushes and roses especially |

"Love my garden. But due to circumstances moving to a flat . Currently have 6 acres which includes a small zoo
That must be hard to leave behind"
Very. At the moment I get woken up by the cock and my two donkeys letting me no they are awake and want feeding. |

Love looking at it (our garden attracts a load of wildlife) but never really go out there. The back door is jammed and you can only get to our garden by going out the front and around the house to the back, on a path that goes through the neighbour's gardens.
We pay a local gardener to maintain it but I only really go round once a month or so to stock up the bird-feeders or to clear out old egg shells from the nesting boxes when the blue tits have left.

I find gardening difficult due to my arthritis so have a gardener. But I do love sitting out on the deck enjoying the garden. As I am now with a cold beer.
And the decking is in the shade so no worries about getting burned. |

For years the last 30 ft of the garden has been a wildflower conservation area - but no more.
It's been cleared and covered.
What to do with it now??????? |

Technically one half is a big wreck and the other half is only a little one. I have managed to mow the lawn in the back garden when it didn't rain for a day but been too busy to tackle the front |

I used to grow my own veg until I changed job and found I'd not got the time to devote to it. I've now grassed it all over and hate it. It's just a green desert. I want a mower I can sit on. Not because the garden is big, it's tiny, but it just looks more fun than messing around with a flymo. I also get to chase the local urchins up the road with it, too. |

Mine is a wreck now. I use it to hang washing and thats it. My grass is so long and s grown up taller than my child.
I hate strimming though. It goes through me. It needs doing before I can cut it though |

Spent about £5,000 on decking, York stone, fencing, shed, planters, furniture etc with the intention of enjoying it. Had breakfast out there once, and a drink in the evening, once.
The shed is full of every garden equipment, still in mint condition from when I did the garden eight years ago: I paid a gardener twice a year to cut the grass, the borders with the intention of using it...nope, it looks pretty through the glass doors.
However, himself loves gardening and gadgets. He's started a compost heap, discovered a barbecue under the vines, has also put the gardener out of a job, so I may just start to use the garden. |

I dont have a passion for gardening but I do keep my garden tidy and keep the trees trimmed and the border flowers and shrubs tidy.
I cant stand long grass, I like it very short and green. I throw grass feed on it now and again.
I wouldnt dream of leaving the garden long and overgrown, it would look terrible and make your house look scruffy.
I do sit outside reading on nice days, I never eat outside tho |

"My garden is just grass but ive a lot of pot plants.. next year id like to try veg "
I've planted veg for the first time this year. Not sure how fast they're supposed to grow. Pulled a radish up the other day as the leaves were really big, but the radish was doll sized, so I put it back in! |

Absolutely love pottering around out in garden.... Although seem to spend most of my time dealing with STINKING CATS SHIT... Ive tried every cat repellant product on the market, to no avail... Apparently its wrong to go blazing away at them with deadly force....so any suggestions gratefully received.... |

Are you a grower or a show-er? Im both, as love cultivating and also letting others see my jungle. The odd sub has been made to do hard graft, as I like doing the light and fluffy stuff. I also do the occasional gorilla gardening, planting things in ground that isnt mine. |
