just been reading about oral chlamydia and a new strain of gonorrhea that is becoming resistant to antibiotics, just wondering about oral sex and kissing , not as safe as it was..connie xx " as we all know, we can put a condom on to give a blow job what are we supposed to do about kissing!? There are quite a few here who don't kiss.
Oral chlamydia is nothing new, it's been one of the transmission vectors for the infection for a long time, it's a much harder route though.

it's not a harder route for the bacterial infections like chlamydia. it's *thought* to be a harder route for the viral ones, as they need to enter the bloodstream, but that theory hasn't been medically 'proven' yet. |

OP's question was related to oral sex and kissing vis-a-vis chlamydia. Chlamydia is not spread by kissing (data taken from CDC and NHS websites). Can be passed by unprotected Oral.
Therefore, 50% of the OPs suggested oral transmission vectors are invalid - hence harder for it to spread orally. |
