Scary music in the dark challenge

I've just come up with a challenge if anyone is brave enough. But first, has anyone ever heard some instrumental music that gave you the creeps and sends chills down your spine when you hear it in your mind?

The challenge is to listen to that certain music that creeps you out all the way through in the dark.

I've done this myself and it was quite scary. The music I listened to was Maleficent's Evil Spell from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Try listening to that in the dark as an example. If you're brave enough

Is it the music from Sleeping Beauty? That's ok. It really is a scary piece of music isn't it.

When I did this, I couldn't help but look around my bedroom hoping there's nothing there. I even have a small mirror on my bedroom wall which doesn't help

Try Penderecki's Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima if you want haunting and horrific sounds. Or get some power electronics going.

Oh, I love it too! The first time you hear it it's awesome in the proper sense of the word.

I love the feeling of having to pull the back of your head off the wall behind you lol Good to meet a fellow musical thrill seeker. I remember, as a kid, just listening to the opening moments of Prokofiev's 'Montagues and Capulets' with my jaw open...never been the same since lol. Stick me in the front row and try and blow my head off with it

I have found another piece of music for anyone to try listening to in the dark. This tune is called Mystic Grounds and its from the original He Man cartoons.

Give it a try if you're brave enough.

I can listen to anything and not get scared.

I often walk around my local graveyard at night when its pitch black, because I actually find it calming!

I also walk in the woods during the dead of night on my own with no fear!

BUT....

If I know a spider is lurking in my room somewhere, because I've tried to whack it and it sneakily got away - I'm fucked!

Lol. One of my neighbours kept waking me up taking their bin out in the middle of the night. I just happened to have that tune as my alarm on my phone and set my alarm to go off at the same time they took out their bin lol, left phone near the window- finally got some sleep coz they stopped taking it out when it was dark. Personally i love the song, that's why i had it on my phone.
