Why doesn't he deserve it? He's unlikely to get the votes but some rubbish acts have been voted through on all sorts of reality talent programmes. Deserve is an odd word in this context.

I think the result of tonight's heat is immaterial because none of them were good enough to win the final.
In-fact I'd say better acts have lost out in the other heats...
