377 Relay for Passat

Need some advice please as my wiper motor was working intermittently but now only works on high speed. So did some research and seems to suggest I replace the relay but the forums only mention an Audi not Passat, although I know some parts are very similar.

So if anyone has any other ideas before I go ahead and get one please let me know.

Think Passat is basically an Audi A4 so might be the same relay.

All part of the VAG - Volkswagen Audi Group - so bound to be shared components

Start with the relay, if not sometimes the stalks wear over time so the contact is lost.

It's nothing daft like a fuse is it? The high speed wipe might be on a separate fuse.

Wish I could buy a new relay tho and know it would work,as it appears you cannot buy them like a new fuse.

Don't buy a relay, sometimes its possible to fix by re-soldering the contacts. A new relay will cost you a few quid so i'd suggest trawling the local breakers yard and it shouldn't be too hefty of your purse
