The suppositories are what I was prescribed when my back was playing up and we'd been through all the usual options up to and including tramadol and nothing worked.
Short of morphine I have never before encountered anything that knocked out my back pain so fast or so well.
Putting the flipping things in is a bit undignified but if you need them by that point you do not care! |

If you mean over the counter cocodamol (500mg paracetamol and 8mg codeine), if they aren't working, you can try Paramol which is about the strongest over the counter pain medication available here.
There are also a couple of pain meds that contain an antihistamine which can work as a muscle relaxant, so which might help. Names temporarily escape me but any pharmacist will know. Or I'll post if I remember! |

Migraleve Pink is one... Panadol Night Pain is the other.
But neither are even nearly as strong as 30/500 cocodamol.
Sometimes I find the ones with antihistamines work when painkillers or anti-inflammatories alone don't. |

I'm only take 7 regularly plus a few more when necessary.
Fortunately I usually have no need for prescription pain meds. |

"He can't of been that serious or maybe he bottled it. "
Or posted after a couple of beers and then fell asleep.
I've known a couple of guys who've driven for an hour or so for spontaneous late night meets only to find the woman/couple had had a couple of drinks and had passed out by the time they got there |
