1.70 for half a pint here, asda, Tesco better than the offies to be honest.
For example 12 cans of fosters 8 quid.
To buy a pint in the heart of
London maybe remorgage or fetch a keg.

Can't help you with the pint prices, but I did need oxygen, paramedics and several months therapy when I paid £8.95 for a large GLASS of wine...in London's defence, I have to say that was in Covent Garden so couldn't get much more touristy (and a glass can cost knocking on for £8 in The Lakes) |

Supermarkets and off licences will be exactly the same prices down here as what you'd pay in Halifax.
Pubs in the west end and city will be very expensive though.
In my local you will pay £1.90 for the house ale or bitter
£2.10 for the crappy lagers such as fosters/carling.
£3.20 for Kronenburg/Stella and guiness.
£8 for a bottle of house wine.

Stay away from tourist areas... As others have said stock up before you come and buy from supermarkets if you do.
Pretty much budget £5 per drink, so if it's a round of two then you won't get much change from a tenner....
Other than that have fun, it's a fabulous city

Not in my experience,unless there's a promoted offer... There's a definite difference when I travel away from London. You don't get many ASDAs here either lol

And when I lived in Camden the supermarkets were more expensive than those further out of the centre |
