Have you had a parking ticket from this company? Have you paid up?
This company was on Watchdog on 6th May this year and parking tickets issued by them are not enforceable. They are called "Unenforceable Invoices". They try to tell you that as the Registered Keeper, you are responsible for the charge. YOU ARE NOT! The driver may be responsible, but you were not driving, were you?
Best check out the site for "The Consumer Action Group" and look for car parking and fines to get the full low down on what is really a legal scam.
Does their advice work? Well, It did for me. I just ignored all the letters (6) and they left me alone. They told me I had to pay £80 or £50 if I paid right away.
Companies using this band if con men are MacDonalds, B & Q, Aldi and the Co-op to name a few. |

"Never had one no, but I would be careful , I watched a programme on Baliffs and if they sell on the debt, it could turn into hundreds. "
Actually, the third letter is from a collection company called CSS and they have (strangely) the same address as Parking Eye. They tell you that they will send in debt collectors who may seize your goods and ruin your credit rating....
Debt collectors can't do that and if they did call, they can do nothing if you don't let them...
The only way you get baliffs is to refuse to pay, refuse again and then go to court... Have a case found against you and get an order... Default and get taken back to court and THEN they MAY send in the baliffs.
This companies letters are all wind and piss |
