Aaargh
Pulled a muscle in the back of my thigh yesterday at the start of my parkrun.
I have just pulled a muscle in the front of the same thigh trying to show my sister how i use my foam roller on my poorly legs!!!

I would live to try an ice bath!! I get really hot and in the summer all I think about in utting my hands and feet on huge blocks of ice and them melting all the way through. |

Well youve pulled your muscle from the front to the back, you only need to pull it to the left & to the right now y'all & you will be the cha cha slide master lol...
On a serious note get a bag of frozen peas on it for 20min & keep your leg elavated, rub it regulary to increase blood flow & dont use a heat pack/water bottle for the first 2days as it can inflame the injury more. Worked wonders for me at kickboxing back in the day |

For soft tissue injuries, I usually go with... 'RICE' - Rest/Ice/Compression and Elevation.
Arnica gel and Lavender gel are good, the latter to cool down the area... I always have both at home.
