Wilko Johnson and Roger Daltrey

Bought their new album yesterday. The title track is having loads of airplay on Radio 2 currently.

It's proper British R&B but suppose it's what Dr Feelgood would be producing if they were still together.

Roger Daltrey's voice is proper blusey but that's likely to be down to his recent throat operations.

Wilko Johnson was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2013 and has been on the road since.

He says if he's going to go, he'll go doing what he loves doing.

Rock on chaps

Daltry did an interview on BBC London last week, wilko has had an OP and the fact that the OP hasn't killed him, he should make a recovery. Still in hospital at the moment.

The album has a brilliant cover of the old feelgood number "going back home"

All the best to Wilko!

There's some great harmonica riffs in "Going Back Home"

I'm going to practice this track for our local jam sessions

You want to listen back to back to the wilko/Daltry versions and the original feelgood versions. Fascinating
