I met him back in the 80s when he was going solo and he was still straight! lol. Really nice guy and his girlfriend at the time, Kathy Yeung, was gorgeous.
I have seen him live twice and he is incredibly good.  |

I've no time for him or his music.... but I will concede his vocal performance during the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley was utterly masterful ......
In-fact I'd go so far as to say I thought his vocals during "Somebody To Love" was one of the finest live vocals I've ever heard...  |

Saw him live a couple of years ago. brilliant voice but some of his songs were very samey and seemed to have been written whilst under the herbal influence and droned on a little bit morosely. his voice is at its best when he is singing a powerful song on all cylinders rather than some of the lullabys I heard. I actually fell asleep once. But that might have been down to the souvlaki, dolmades and retsina. |

No he's been clean for a good while now and wish him the best of luck with that. He's working on a new album and touring again next year so all indicates a happy healthy George  |
