No, that's wholly inadequate. I thought it was a rite of passage thing for every boy. It should be seared in your memory as a transition from boy to man.

An interesting point that I haven't considered before in relation to facial hair. I have considered it about other pubic hair. I will be pondering this.

think i was about 14. picked up one of my brothers used disposals and dry shaved my face with it... eeeek
quickly learned to use shave cream and my own razors soon after |

Very. I've got hair sprouting everywhere except on my head. Have to take drastic measures to keep it all in check. Often have to shave twice a day if I'm going out in the evening  |

Started at around 11 using the old man's Palmolive and bic disposables. Used to crap myself when I cut because it'd bleed for ages and I'd end up late for school with tissue on my face!  |

A male friend of mine says God is a woman. His reasoning is woman got a monthly curse (periods) and men got a daily curse (shaving). He hates doing his daily shave. He also hates beards lol. |

14 I think. My Grandad gave me an old Phillishave of his. I did it when my folks were out one Saturday night. My dad's reaction wasn't to shake my hand and congratulate me, but to quickly ascertain that I hadn't used his shaver. I can't say it meant a great deal to me.  |

Had my first wet shave yesterday in... ermm, I don't know, a few years?
Actually doesn't feel to bad but I look like I'm ill. Still going to keep it clean shaved for a few weeks though. |

I was 14 and only did it because my mates were. Truth be told I didn't have anything to shave.
I borrowed my dads bic disposable, and ripped my face!
I am lucky I go a week and a half between shaves now. |
