Pay off the mortgage, take the family to the states for the summer, have the house done out so it wasn't reliant on the grid... Tbh probably have a place built that was entirely off grid, zombie proof, apocalypse proof etc

Sort our lives out, sort our family's lives out, have little one, get him settled until he's old enough to fly, travel the world, have fun and then start on making baby number 2 with no financial worries.

I would make sure my family were looked after, but a nice big country estate with lots of land and equestrian facilities..
Give some money to a few charities and travel the world. |

Buy myself a nice flat in big apartment in London and use it as a base and then travel where ever I wanted to and see as much as of the world as possible.
Give some to my friends and family so they can live life without having to worry about money.
Give some to charities.
Back some projects (tech/science) that I thought were worthwhile. |

Buy a sleepy little village somewhere and turn it into a swingers haven. Or a great big country mansion. And just throw wild parties full of debauchery.
Build a racetrack and lots of cars that I want and go wild.
Help people who genuinely need it, people who don't have a pot to piss in but still try to do the best they can for their families. I'd pay off their houses and give them enough money to feed and clothe themselves and their kids, but not enough for them to lose the motivation to better their current situation.
Buy a big premises and take in all the stray dogs, cats, horses and any other animals that have been abandoned or otherwise mistreated and give them a better life. I couldn't do it on my own as I'd be too busy racing cars or shagging (see points 1&2) so maybe give the people mentioned above a job so they could support themselves.

I would buy a flat in London with stunning city _iews and a house in the country (I need fog and trees and quietness too) that both have libraries and grand pianos (I'm partial to a soft action Bluthner but a Bechstein would do). I'd then have somewhere to hang my hat but would spend most of my life travelling all over the place seeing beautiful and weird things and going to as many gigs by bands I love as humanly possible.
I'd also fund my own chain of centres so kids could have access to arts, music and IT education without having to pay for it.
And I'd secretly pay off my friends' mortgages so they didn't have to worry about things either. |

"And I'd secretly pay off my friends' mortgages so they didn't have to worry about things either."
How do you plan to do that without them knowing after buying your extravagent new properties, taking extended holidays on the otherside of the planet and opening all your arts centres? |

I'd do that first through a trust and finish my job for the year (since you know what I do that makes sense otherwise I'd be dropping a load of people in the shit who are relying on me). I'd like to see their reactions before they know it's me. I might even take some of them off travelling with me. I wouldn't run the arts centres either although I might pop in now and then undercover and they wouldn't have my name on any of the paperwork. I have thought this through! |

Now that would not be public knowledge but on a need to know basis for exclusivity purposes |

buy a house big enough for both of us, and her kids (as long as there is an annex so i dont have them under my feet all the time)
buy a midnight star.
keep the rest for a rainy ay.
i would still go to work, though not 50/70 hours a week as i do now |

I'd help friends and family. Pay off their debts and give them a fresh start. I'd also make large donations to The Dogs Trust, the PDSA and various cancer charities.
My own personal wealth doesn't concern me as long as I can provide for my kids. |

Pay off friends & families mortgages.
Set up some trust funds at all the local schools so every pupil can go on every school trip.
Have a country house, a city base & a villa abroad somewhere peaceful. I know I'd end up with a few cars, as I love them.
Donate to local charities - especially hospices.
Then travel the world.

I would travel the world setting up social enterprises ensuring all profits stay in that community, buy all the rainforests so it can't be chopped down, buy seaworld, London zoo and all made for profit organisations that use animals for entertainment. Would then set up animal nature reserves in their place. Set up private run schools for the poor and then make people's dreams come true.
I'd also take my kids to Disneyland!! |
