Now this isn't like me at all, but today for some unknown reason I feel like I want to burst into tears!

My daughter is sitting the first exam of her first year at UNI, I'm awaiting test results, and to top it all off I just passed a funeral cortège for a baby boy!

Snap of it Lucy!! Is what I'm saying to myself!

What makes you emotional?

I'm feeling emotional today too. Happens for no reason. I'm taking my mind of it by watching Game of Thrones and eating dips and Jaffa cakes

I get pretty emotional over my kids as I think most do. I get emotional over silly things. The big things I tend to stay strong over. Bottle it all up and then when least expected crumble... Usually at the wrong most inappropriate time.

I'll be getting very emotional tomorrow, taking my son to respite .

I know he needs a break from me and I need to recharge my batteries but it still gets to me every time

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

There's no need to snap out of it, Lucy. We all need to get emotional sometime and a lot is happening all at once.

Babies and children, injustice and sex can all make me emotional.

Life can be so demanding at times , wether your a parent , a partner a grandparent your still expected to be strong , but at the end of the we are all human . So let the tension out with a good cry then look in the mirror and tell yourself I feel a lot better now and carry on . Don't bottle it up . Good luck to you both (mr)

Lost a cat recently, anything remotely sad screws me up at the moment, even sad bits in comedy programs but I just slap myself with a wet halibut and all is OK again.

I'm not an emotional person but since I became a dad I can't watch things like Comic Relief anymore. I have to send some money and turn over whereas before it didn't affect me.

See animals get me every time!

Have you seen Marley and Me? I was a blubbing mess towards the end of that film.

I tend to let things build up and then feel like I might lose my marbles so I put a good soppy film on and let it all out

I feel better after that. Although lately episodes of greys anatomy seem to set me off a lot what with dogs being put down, babies dying and people getting hit by busses. However how upset I get watching these things depends on how stressy I am in real life x

Hugs to Ruby and Lucy. My emotions are reasonably stable, but do get tearful or shaky sometimes - todays a poor day, so will have to find some choc or something.

work is stressing me shitless right now. Last night to something very innocuous I got a lump in my throat and a tear down my eye. Only brief but was just odd.

Just to say - In a manager meeting, I sort of gave them a fucking (quite a big one) that they have been giving me recently.
