I've always had an iPhone but the software is all the same on every iPhone the phone isn't much different in designs from the iPhone 5 to 5s the iPhone 6 is out September, I think
It needs to have the wow factor or be different most people I know I getting bored with the iPhone. Hence why I was thinking of an HTC one m8 |

I switched from iPhone to Android (HTC Desire) several years ago, currently Have a HTC One M7 Dual Sim.
Wouldn't switch back to IPhone now although I have used (& would still consider in the future) other Android phones |

Apple have a very locked down eco system... Android much more open.
We're an android family. Much easier to use, you don't need an application on a PC to hook it up to your pc (not that you need to much these days) etc.
Personally, I'd go nexus 5 -buy it out right fit half the cost of the above phones, then go to a sim only deal. It's pretty liberating, you only actually upgrade when u fell your phone is actually old, not because your contract has expired and you feel you need to to get your vfm.

I have had iPhones for the last 4years, don't think I could have an android. Only problem with iPhones is the battery. And as you say, it's pretty much the same features on every iPhone. Hopefully with the 6 they will make some bigger differences |

"Yeah I'm charging my iphone 5 at the min 2 or 3 times a day it's ridiculous
Same here "
GPS enabled? Most people I know with battery issues have their gps enabled - not really necessary unless using navigation. If on, it's polling satellites constantly.

"I was suppose to say "if you was to get"
Or "if you were to get"
We are all apple-ed up so the iPhone 6 sounds interesting. Wish it was a tad bigger though as I like the big screen phones. "
the big rumour is that the iphone 6 is going to be coming in a 4.7inch and 5.5inch variety... so sounds like you'll be getting your wish..... |

"Are iphones that poor for battery life?
I have a Nokia Lumia 820 & the battery easily lasts from 06:30 when i unplug it to 6pm when i get home."
iphones are only that poor in battery life if you have all your apps and gps services running at the same time... I have mine switched off and get a good 36-48hrs between charges |

"Does the HTC one m8 do dual sim tho"
I dont think it does, well not in the |UK anyways.
If it was available you would have to do as I did and buy it outright (got my M7 Dual Sim from Expansys) |

You couldn't get it via the phone companies as they have no incentive to supply it. Had to buy direct from HTC UK/Expansys

I have iPhone 5 and it serves it's purpose very well. My Son is pestering me to buy him an iPhone so I might give him my phone and get a new one.
Being an iOS user for as long as I care to remember has always steered me in the direction of iPhones.
I have read many stories about android apps being easily hacked and full of virus/malware, which is a plus point for sticking with iOS
From what I have seen of the HTC M8 it looks like a cracking phone with lots of plus points over 5s but I am too much of a scardy cat to try out Android.
I might hold out for the iPhone 6 and hope Apple have upped their game! |

Bluetooth, use airdrop to send pics to and from Apple devices. I have a 5s in gold and it does everything I need. I would wait for the 6 which will be announced soon and then way up the pros and cons then. |
