I used to live in hull and when they got the play offs for premier.. there was a bannar on the long road going out of hull saying "last one out of Hull turn the lights off" it will be pretty similar tomorrow.. |

I moved to Hull in 1990 and settled there. Best place I have worked and lived in.
Ok, I currently work down south as that is where the work was 2.5 years ago after redundancy!
But watch Hull grow very soon with the phenomenal investment being pumped into the city and the 1000's of jobs to come! Who then will be slagging off the city then?
Only this week, I've had 3 recruiting agencies approach me about work up there. |

I don't live in hull but nearby it's not a bad place like others are slating it some grest shops old town is great for a night out never no trouble when I go out like ive seen in other places xx |

Wow. I'm not originally from hull but live here now. Gotta say I'm quite surprised by a couple of posts about this town. It's absolutely not in the top 3 worst places to live. 3 years here, and I quite like it..... And the very naughty men who live in and around it. |

Hull has a very bad reputation but i go there 8 or 9 times a year and always have a laugh and the language is similar to english so not hard to understand
