Hi.
I am asking on behalf of a friend who has had the following idea, I think its good so I said I would help with some feedback/input on here for her.
She has previously owned a sex shop so has good contacts for quality products.
She is thinking of making a sex toy kit/set. There would be variations but all would come in a nicely presented case and have good quality products inside to suit the theme you go for.
She has had the following ideas on themes;
Standard edition
Deluxe
Black edition
Dirty weekend
The main things they will come with are as follows;
Rabbit Vibrator
Dildo
Adult outfit
Anal toy
plus smaller extras such as;
Jiggle balls
Nipple tassels
Porn DVD
and a few other little bits such as oils, lube etc.
Prices would range from about £60 - £95 but I will confirm once she has some idea which would be best.
There can be plenty of other themes I suppose such as bi/les, mens and so on.
Just wondering what peoples thoughts would be on this, would anyone actually but it?
She does not have an account here so I will send her all feedback.

I doubt that I would buy a kit/set for that price as there's always at least one item that you don't like / don't want and it would seem like a waste of money.
Personally I would rather buy the items individually. Good luck  |

Yea must agree with that as there may well be something in it you don't really want so best to but want you really want individually, had a box from somewhere a few years ago with different stuff in it from a sex shop catalogue and I think some of the stuff we didn't use is still in the box in the cupboard  |

Better to have the little case and then pick and mix, a good quality and classy case would be good, with an area for condoms, vibe, lube, restraints, blindfold, etc. I like the idea. Not too big and discreet. |

You have got to ask, 'what's in it for the buyer?' Sexually experienced people usually know what they like and need and get it (not referring to fab single males here). If there is no major savings or other benefit, then the only benefit is that you just make one purchase - but it is not that hard to add several things to a love honey etc account and purchase. If it is aimed at less sexually veratild people, it may offer something to extend their interests. Overall, unless there is some massive benefit Im not seeing, then it is only a time saving benefit, which is insufficient to attract sales. |

Cos as I know what I intend to get up to I would buy the things that make that happen.
I wouldn't buy a bag of goodies then perform acts to suit the toy.
Another thing ...... Toys are so personal to the sex life of the owner.
The ready kit might suit some last minute panic buyers like blokes on the hop but it'd have to be on shelves not in the post. ( time factor and impulse )
They'd be impulse buys or emergency buys at best.

Thanks for the feedback. I called her and let her know everyone's thoughts.
She said that it maybe possible to do a pick 'n' mix type set but it would be a little bit more expensive.
She said there is some sets on other websites but there are fairly basic and have cheaper products and lots of pointless cheaper extras to full the box. I think she is going to look in to it a little more.

I think the things she listed above are quite good in a set. Normally you get really small pointless items but her's seemed pretty well though out.
What else would you add/remove? |

Unless there was a tranny kit that contained a pair of mans size 9 killer heel ankle boots bedecked with a swishy fringe and sparkly studs.... it just wouldn't be sexy to me...  |
