How far do you commute?

I am lucky in that i only have to drive about 20mins through lovely countryside to get to my work.

Am on a course today and had to drive round towns and city's.to get there. I hated it!!

I'd hate to have to sit in traffic yo get to work daily.

Some days, about ten feet.

Other days, a couple of hundred miles!

15 minutes through fields. It's lovely, especially on a day like today.

A seaside town near you!

Shortest drive to work is just over an hour, longest is 3 hours unless the motorways are bad which they nearly always are then it can take a lot longer grrrrr

I aim to get to work 1 hour early. That makes it a 14 min hop round the m60. If i aim to get there on time, it can be 45 mins.

Forty minutes but I prefer to wait for the second train to avoid feeling as if I've been felt up on a packed carriage!

Cardiff

I go to work late as to avoid the traffic, leave early too for same reason.

I hate traffic queues. I also hate facts that tell us we spend so much of our lives sat in traffic etc

Bristol

It's a two mile walk from my house to work so I've given up wheeled transport for the sheer joy of walking whilst listening to music. It totally sets me up for the day on the way in and chills me out on the way hone. I only get the bus or a lift now if I've got loads of heavy stuff to carry.

It's not too far and does depend on the time of day and year: from 20 to 40 minutes.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

No commute currently because I'm not working.

At one point a few years ago, for 9 months, I was commuting 100 miles each way, through and around towns and into the centre of a city. I did that 5-6 days per week. I spent 4 hours each day commuting.

I don't recommend it.

"45 minutes by car going, 1 hr plus coming back. Not fun."

mine is the opposite... where is it 50 minutes going out.. and about 35-40 coming back....

I have my "got to" podcasts on my phone so I have something to listen/laugh to in the car....

15miles. At one point I was doing it daily by bike 50 mminutes each way and 150 miles a week certainly got me fit!

In Your Bush

Mine varies every day. Yesterday was a 6 hour round trip, today it's the bottom of my garden.

Luke's about 10-15 mins in the car as he works out in the sticks,

Me, my work is about 1.5 miles away so I often walk there and back. Only take the bus if the weather is horrid.
