So it turns out that even though the UK voted Poland to get full marks,the UK judging panel put them 11th! And the Austrian entry got full points! If This is european democracy in action I WILL be voting UKIP! ( I want my 50p back!) |

actually... what happened is they came 1st in the televoting... and DFL (Dead F'ing Last) in the national jury voting.... which means they averaged 11th over all.....
they weren't the only country to do this... the irish did exactly the same...
the reason for the huge difference.... the national jury's are not allowed to see the TV preformances... they have to go on the song alone....
be honest.... you are not telling me you voted for the song for its lyrical content now.... are you??
mind you it is a case study in "the power of boobies!!!!"....... |
