Anyone tried it? Is it worth a go or if you are short of time or is it just a marketing ploy?

My daughter has used it at festivals or when she really has no time, she says its not great but it does a temporary cover up job thats more acceptable than filthy hair

Somewhere in North Norfolk

It doesn't work for me. I have very fine hair and it makes it feel horrible without looking any better.

My child likes it and always has a can in. I heard talc works just as good.

I've tried a few different ones, and I can honestly say the best one was the 79p one from Home Bargains. The 'proper' £2.99 stuff didn't make a difference to my hair x

daughter and her friends use it especially at festivals - better on lighter coloured hair

Talc only works on blonde hair, too light for brunettes. I use the Batiste one and works well but I have really sensitive skin and it does set off my excema every single time. Used Superdrug own brand once and it was awful on my hair, never again. Think it just depends on your hair type, skin type and preference. I only ever use it when I'm rocking a crazy colour and trying to draw out the colour lol

Works for me. If something comes up and you genuinely don't have time to wash your hair, it does a temporary job (although you usually FEEL grubbier than before, thanks to the powder sitting on your scalp/moving about your hair).

If you have fine hair it's useless. Your hair simply ends up full of powdery mess instead of grease and now it's also standing on end.

I've tried a few types but my hair just looks like it's having a wild party and the rest of me isn't invited.

I've been using batiste for many years & love it! I've very fine, soft hair & use it to give my hair a bit of 'oomph' on nights out as well as between washes. wouldn't be without it xx

I use Batiste on the roots in between washes, I think it's great but I always wash it the next evening because my scalp feels sort of clogged up

My roots do if I'm due to have them done yes. That's the only place I use it
