Just wondering . ( Please feel free to tell me to f..k off) But .. when you chat us guys and request a face pic . Then we get the dreaded " Sorry not my type " message . Could you at least send a " Look what you coulda won " Pic back . Just so (Even if its a lie ) We can have the pleasure of saying " Thats fine!! You was not my type anyway .Cheers ma dears   |

Not my type doesn't necessarily mean unattractive. I may decline because of facial hair, miserable looking photo, axe murderer eyes, because they're dark and I prefer fair...
It's not necessarily any kind of negative judgement.
Given that, I'm not really sure why the other party not being your type would make you feel better.
Once I've been turned down it no longer matters to me what the other person looks like. I'm more likely to be stalk...looking for my next vic...potential meet than thinking about it.
I could just be strange. Actually, I know I'm strange, I mean maybe I'm strange when it comes to this specifically.

We've encountered radio silence after sending face pictures sometimes we think it's because they don't realise that people in their fifties are going to have faces of people (albeit gorgeous, well preserved and prize winning  ) who are in their fifties  |

What's the point of that? Would rather just spend the time messaging someone else than someone who wasn't interested. I have my face pics on public display so would assume people who weren't interested wouldn't message and ask to attach a face pic. I do get some rather bizarre reasons not to send one though. I hate chatting to people when I don't know what they look like, think its a bit rude really but that's just me. |

You dont have to be too ugly, or even ugly at all, or not in someone's league, to not be chosen to pursue things with. And it is rather unenlightened to think that someone one is not compatible with is going to lavish attention on one following their decision to move on. Thats what one has likewise to do - move on. It could be seen as rubbing your nose in things to send the money shot etc, and I think I find it a bit pathetic to send a consolation prize of a pic, to prop up another's ego or esteem. Im not pursuing this suggestion and having someone at my coat tails. Life is short, spend it wisely. |

No!. Just because you have sent me a picture doesn't mean I have to send one back. What's the point for me. I don't want any more people than necessary seeing my pic. I would be happy to get a polite no thanks. At least it's not ignore and block. |

Yes, I agree with you there. I prefer to keep face pics off here as much as possible, so usually I wait until I have an inkling I might like to meet someone, but I would not ask for theirs meanwhile. If I am sent one unsolicited I do not feel I have to reply in kind.

Now, now Tina, you know what happened last time motor boats were involved - it's all fun and games till someone loses an eye/breaks a nose! 
To the OP, when I have sent a pic after saying a polite no thanks the response to it is either that I'm a fat munter so he wouldn't have met me if I'd begged or I start getting the begging messages. Neither of these makes for a fun inbox so if it's a no I simply say so and leave it there. |

Yes I agree with you there. I would never ask for a picture in the first place. If I like somebody then I will send a picture. But if some random person sends me a pic then I won't send one back unless I like the look of them.
