Can you help me with some advice I have this person on my friends list who says they don't want to meet me anymore but they want to keep in touch to say hi now and then and although I really like them I don't see the point in keeping them on my list what do you all think ?

My personal opinion (which i have no wish to force upon anyone) is that i use this site as CHAT and sex. I get good results.

I think using it as SEX and chat, you are bound to be dissappointed.

In summation, keep them around. Embrace the social side of the site. You may just enjoy it more.

But thats just me. Feel free to ignore me.

If you want to say 'hi' now and then, leave them on your list.

If you do not want to say 'hi' now and then, take them off your list.

They have not wasted your time. They have been honest.

Now make a decision.

They didn't waste him time. They said ' I don't want to meet you' ..... He might be wasting his time thinking about it but that's the only time wasted.

If ive not wanted to continue meeting former meets then ive deleted them from my friends so I don't keep seeing their (sometimes irritating) status' on my homepage...that said its nice to chat occasionally, but I hate it if they want to chat constantly on a daily basis when I just want to concentrate on chatting to people im going to meet in the future...as long as you're not going to pester for chat then don't burn your bridges, you never know when you might need an escape route

I don't think you need advice per se!! If you want to chat sometimes, keep them on your fiends list. Or if you really like them keep them anyway - people change their minds sometimes, things change!!

Or I sometimes 'demote' people to the hotlist - so I can still find them easily but not be informed of their every meet/status update, nor they of mine!

It is nice to chat from meets, but if they wish not too interact or ignore, because you was not for them get rid.

No reason not to say hello now and then, some worry about losing a veri, but not here.

I have friends that I've no intention of meeting but so chat now and again so I keep them on my list.

I don't see any problem here

Ask yourself does it really (really?) matter?

Its your choice and it is in your own destiny whether they stay or go. Why not just leave them there and see how much of an impact it has on your time on this site - I suspect the answer will be little impact…… so you are procrastinating about nothing really.
