can understand why people don't read your profile.
i've just sat through it and it was painful, trying to be funny and failing, long and drawn out, not to mention confusing, to whom you are actually looking too meet.  |

I would rather spend my time chatting to people I want to meet,it can be tempting to have a bit of pisstaking fun with people that clearly havn't read the profile but it would be a full time job! |

I might be alone in this but I really don't care if people read the profile. Neither our couples nor my singles one. Although there's no list of orders to follow so maybe that's why I'm not so anal about it.
If someone contacts me/us a chat ensues and people will find out soon enough if they're compatible.
I'm sure this constant defensiveness people adopt about their online presence is what leads to fools chancing their arm and attacking that defence because it's fun or they see it as a challenge. I say this because I get very little idiot contact and a lot of people have indeed read the profile. BUT just because they have does not then put the in a more suitable pile. And vice-versa.
I'd also not personally ever humiliate someone who contacted me.
