With so many pointless rules. Well some countries have stupid ones too.
Going by films/tv shows and photos taken from people I know. America and Australia are the best countries to go to. Best I've been to is Switzerland. Trying to coax mates to a trip, but all are loved up with kids |

I have visited some lovely places.. One that sticks in my mind... I was taken at sunset to watch traditional shepherds in Spain.. Take their goats, too drink.. From a large lake. Then taken to swim at the bottom of a hidden waterfall... It was breathtaking. |

Heron Island off the coast of Oz - so tranquil and amazing marine life.
Kefalonia - I could live there quite easily. Beautiful, laid back and lovely people. |

Best place ever been it's tough.
I could move to Chiang mai in Thailand tomorrow, really awesome and chilled place. Plus the northern style sausage is out of this world, think pork red curry in a Cumberland ring.
To visit though, Vietnam was possibly more amazing. Food utterly astonishingly tasty, people the most friendly out of any nation that I've been fortunate enough to visit. I'm sure I'd be as happy living there, but I'd certainly give it a chance. Saigon I really need to spend more time in desperately. |

"There's no place like home
Home will always be in the heart/memory for either a good reason or a bad reason. This post reminds me of a bonjovi song "
I'm not a traveller. I get homesick |

Denali national park in Alaska was breathtaking. Camped out on the mountains to be woken by moose walking nearby and then descended on a whitewater raft down mount McKinley. Be hard to too but Vietnam/Borneo and Peru are on my to do list which may change my mind |

I have traveled around most of Europe and been to the the USA. Phoenix was cool as was Dallas, but if I had to pick one place other than Derby to live it would be Barcelona, I have been there 3 times |

lots of beautiful places, i had a lovely time in kenya courtesy of a friend in my mid teens whose dad was transferrred over there (they were wealthy we werent so it only cost my parents the flight) - Austria was pretty, Spain, Gran Canaria a geat place to be free, Wales has so many fun memories with the kids camping etc, but the one place i recall most often to myself is a localish park i used to cycle to when younger, a certain old oak tree i used to sit under and read, doze, and be at peace - to me that is beautiful |

Sitting on Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands off the coast of Queensland drinking an ice cold beer, listening to Bob Marley, reading a good book with my feet buried in the warm crystal white sand. Perfect. |

For the sheer vibrancy, people and places to see, out favourite place has to be New York.
For the sheer beauty, people, food and sense of fun it has to be Italy.

Can't believe that on a swinger site nobody has mentioned Cap d'Agde yet.
As for other places. In Europe we love Barcelona, Rome, and the Mosel in Germany. In North America I (Mr) used to visit New York quite a lot a few years ago and loved it, and Las Vegas is well.....Las Vegas.
In Asia we both loved Singapore and Hong Kong, Bangkok was crazy, especially the Tuk-Tuk's, Saigon was interesting but we were not keen on the rest of Vietnam especially the further north we went. |

One of my favourite places is old winchester hill following the south downs way, beautiful.
The valley gardens in Windsor great Park in full bloom is gorgeous.
Lyme Regis
There are parts of Wales that are beautiful.
The lake district also.
And hounslow just picturesque.the treaty shopping centre, bus garage and hounslow west tube station. |

I want to go there on my next visit, when I've saved my pennies.
In the UK, I love Hope Cove in South Devon. Very pretty & relaxing. |

I visit most of the Middle East quite regularly, Dubai is on crack, think the Vegas of the Middle East, it's good if you want glitz and more style over substance but it is losing it's identity and transforming into something completely different!
Now Abu Dhabi I love...so much more calmer and not over the top.
Think discerning sophistication with elegant surroundings. The food is awesome, the people friendly and they have Ferrari World....nuff said!
"Abu Dhabi for me
I fancy this more than Dubai.. Love to go"

I love Essourria (totally misspelt) in Morocco. Must have been there half a dozen times and it's somewhere I always feel happy.
And another vote for Thailand, I've been trekking in the North twice and love it. No desire to go to the beaches and not a great fan of Bangkok. |

How can you judge an entire country by films/tv shows & other peoples photos?
An example of this is the film "The Beach", its NOT filmed on Ko Phangan, however watching it, you would assume it was.. |

The mountains that shoot out of the ground everywhere there are breath taking.
Loved Harbin in China too, whilst they had the ice and snow sculpture festival on....was like a fairytale wonderland. |

The Isle of Man during that most cherished of times, the TT races. It is better than any legal or illegal drug.
I always have a soft spot for the Lakes as well. |

It wasn't that expensive for me. I'm lucky to have friends in Brisbane - I've visited 3 times so far and am planning a trip next year. I hired a car and drove up the coast staying at motels on the way. Took me 3 days to drive there. Stayed a couple of nights and drove back. I loved it. |
