Have to wait in all day for Yodel to deliver my new Livorno G500 laptop. Gotta wait between now and 9pm.

Have you guys had to wait in this long for something and if so what was it?

You can guarantee that if you pop out for just a few seconds you'll miss the delivery lol

Or as soon as you go to use the bathroom/jump in the shower.

In a crisp poke on the A814

They are rated the worse in the UK....

Obviously by people who have never used DX (nightfreight)

Oh I love yodel

One day they left 4 you were not in cards when I was upstairs waiting for them. Then another driver delivery (we had paid extra to have our Dyson Delivered on my day off) yodel then try and deliver it two days early.... The final straw was when a driver told my parents that if he didn't get a had with the item then he wouldn't deliver it......how do they stay in business

I had problem with them always coming at school time to drop a parcel 4 days running after I had rang the office and said I will not be in the house at this time can they come before 3 or after 4

Got to admit they are pretty thick

Can't complain at the delivery driver we had a couple of years back. Hot day, shirt off, he certainly was an entertaining boy for about an hour.

But that was DHL. Yodel are shit!

I've read lots of complaints about Yodel around the internet, but personally I've had no real problems with them. The only slight issue I've had, was when waiting for a new laptop from Amazon. The tracking system showed it had been sitting in their 'hub' for several days, so I contacted Amazon; it arrived the next day, a Saturday afternoon!

I don't know the percentage, but Yodel drivers can be self-employed, hence why you could get a delivery at 9pm, or on

a Saturday afternoon.

Your waiting for yodel ?? Good luck if it even turns up . Used them many times and every one has been damaged / didn't get there/ days on days late .

Shit customer services .!!

Sorry , bit of a rant there . Hope your lap tops ok ?

You must have had a ruff deal there. I have heard all sorts of stories about yodel and personally never had a problem or a big one. Yes its done on the cheap but often its free delivery. Ok they aren't the quickest waiting till they have a few deliveries in the area but in general things don't get damaged. They are not whistles and bells service but for budget delivery they aren't too bad.

They're a franchise so it's pot luck whether you get good or bad service. In my area they seem to employ six-toed freaks. I had a car battery delivered recently. The box was very clearly marked with 'fragile' and 'this way up'. The driver thew it out of his van and it landed upside down. He also got extremely confrontational when I refused the delivery.

Cheeseville, Somerset

Recently booked a day of to wait for some furniture.

No sign so called them at 4.

They said "sorry - there's been a system fault and we're coming tomorrow now!"

Offered me £20 compensation after I kicked off.

Told them to go fuck themselves as a days lost holiday is worth slightly more to me than that.

Wrote, called and emailed to complain.

That was four weeks ago.

Still no response.

I now won't shop with retailers who clearly use them.

Read all the nightmare experiences about yodel but we have never had any trouble with any parcel received.

Whatever instruction we have given them in the event that we are not in they have followed to the letter.

Certain parcels can also be tracked and they have given me a ring an hour or so before to say an approximate time when they will be delivering.

With the sheer amount of parcels they deliver, there will inevitably be bad experiences which always tend to be highlighted in online reviews and forums.

you wanna see the inside of their hub in wednesfield.

the place is fcuking huge!!

parcels racing around everywhere

i used to be a driver for them, not a pudle jumper, mind, on the artics bringing all the orders in from companies to be sent out.

have to say, also run for nightfreight, aspray and tnt and yodel take much more care over their customers parcels than the others.

while waiting for my load, i watched 2 spotty oiks loading a truck, in amazement.

it was like a giant game of tetris lol
