Can someone from FAB please answer some questions as why ours and other members private photos are being posted [removed]. Some of our new private photos have just been put in there and we have seen many people we know also on there. What the fuck is going on? |

You post pics to the WORLD WIDE WEB. People will do with them what they like. It's a risk you have to take. Don't believe the disclaimers will help you. |

Once you upload any photo on the internet ..... its "out there" ....you have no control over it.
Dont get too paranoid - most people are not remotely bothered.
We have our face pics on for years and change them regularly - it doesent bother us. |

You have over fifty friends only images, over a hundred verifications. If half your verifications are in your friends list, that's fifty people with access. Chances are one of them posted your friends only pictures to Tumblr.
Just a thought, not a judgement, attack or otherwise. As someone said, they are effectively posted in a public entity on a world wide platform. There is an inherent risk some asshat would do such a shitty thing. |

Just had a quick look. A couple from the top fabbed pics are on there. I got a messaging ban for warning them using the hyperlink. Just practice safe surfing. Keep your face hidden unless you are friends, even then still exercise caution. |

I think this would be the clause in their T&C
Privacy Violations. Don't use Tumblr to deceptively obtain personal information. Don't post content that violates anyone’s privacy, especially personally identifying or confidential information like credit card numbers, social security numbers, unlisted contact information, or private photos of your ex's junk (no matter how remarkable).
If you feel that it violates your privacy email them. it's abuse at tumblr's web address |

Once you've shared a photo there is nothing to stop the person you've shared it with, mis-using it. Unfortunately on Fab, like on any site, there are idiots who think it's clever to get added as friends or request private photos and add them elsewhere.
You can request tumblr removes your photos here:
https://www.tumblr.com/dmca
As always our advice is not to add photos *anywhere* on the Internet if you would be upset if they are mis-used.
