We often cut short messages as our youngest still lives at home, and other two will drop in anytime as well. We usually explain to people this could happen (and often does). |

"It's a pain in the backside .....a bye for now is always better than just going "
Manners are sometimes lacking on here in lots of ways. my life is hectic at the moment but I always say goodbye and that i will be back |

"I answer when I want to answer. If people get pissy about it I block them. Can't be doing with people who think they own my time! "
I always like the ones that see you've read their message, for whatever reason you decide to reply later then 3 minutes later you have 2 or 3 more messages from them wanting to know what's wrong, why have you not replied?! |

"Sometimes real life comes in the way. Fab isn't always priority number one.
"
Fab is never priority number one. Anyone who regards it as such needs to get a life.
Toilet breaks are more of a priority than fab! |

Or saying I guess you're not interested then, or complaining that you're rude.
Sometimes I just don't feel like replying, y'know? And since replying with positive interest starts a conversation, I especially don't feel like getting into that sometimes. |

I'm in the emergency services so if I get a shout, I don't have time to say I'm off and on my phone just leave it logged on. If I have to go, usually I say I'm off, speak later. |

A whole raft of reasons. There are lots of reasons why I don't answer a message immediately and if anyone gets uppity with me about it, they get short shrift |

because we sometimes get messages coming up to me going to work.
am i supposed to bin off work to chat with someone thats probably not going to go anywhere?
if they are genuinely interested, it will wait until i get back in from work and can continue chatting |
