Sometimes real life comes in the way. Fab isn't always priority number one.

I use my phone for everything so if I get a message or a phone all I have to answer it but I do try and get back to the conversation. I always apologise too.

Because they find themselves absorbed into a text conversation when they only wanted to drop an email back.

We often cut short messages as our youngest still lives at home, and other two will drop in anytime as well. We usually explain to people this could happen (and often does).

I answer when I want to answer. If people get pissy about it I block them. Can't be doing with people who think they own my time!

I always like the ones that see you've read their message, for whatever reason you decide to reply later then 3 minutes later you have 2 or 3 more messages from them wanting to know what's wrong, why have you not replied?!

Fab is never priority number one. Anyone who regards it as such needs to get a life.

Toilet breaks are more of a priority than fab!

Or saying I guess you're not interested then, or complaining that you're rude.

Sometimes I just don't feel like replying, y'know? And since replying with positive interest starts a conversation, I especially don't feel like getting into that sometimes.

I'm in the emergency services so if I get a shout, I don't have time to say I'm off and on my phone just leave it logged on. If I have to go, usually I say I'm off, speak later.

A whole raft of reasons. There are lots of reasons why I don't answer a message immediately and if anyone gets uppity with me about it, they get short shrift
