So here you can RANK your favourite cakes.
Mine might be something like this.
1. Walnut
2. Coffee
3. Angel
And what is it about carrot cake so popular but I just don't get it |

In fruit cake, which I find too rich anyway, anyone else have an aversion to the candied peel?
This turns my stomach and is a bit like the the gherkin in a cheeseburger... "WHIP IT OUT!!" anyway that's just me, some will say that the green bit is the best part. |

I have yet to encounter a bad cake. If given a choice I tend to head towards the chocolate or cherry but I am magnanimous in spreading cake love around. Even a humble madeira will do in a pinch, especially if there is custard nearby. |

I Love baking. Made some pretty awesome birthday cakes recently, but I dnt want cakes in the house, too tempting, and diets goin well, dnt want to spoil it. Grrrr! |

1) Coffee & walnut.
2) My Nan's chocolate caramel shortbread (if that's allowed in the cake category)
3) Fresh Cream Victoria sponge.
All have to be eaten with a fork - that's the cake law !
