Professor Wynne Godley, economist and one of the treasury's 6 wise men, aged 83
Dr Philip Law, explorer, agd 98
Jack Watson, detective who worked on the case of the last two men to be hung in britain, aged 86
Frederik Van Zyl Slabbert, South African politician and a leading light in the fight against apartheid, aged 70

Swansea City striker Besian Idrizaj died at his home in Austria over the weekend, believed to have suffered a heart attack, he was aged 22 |
