It seems rather pointless to me to have a secret crush on a person who uses a website where people are ideally looking for some sort of sexual intimacy with one another, so am very open about who I fancy on here. |

I know full well that at least some of mine aren't interested in me. What's the point in potentially making them feel uncomfortable? |

Actually its a very good example because I was thinking of a cake, now however because I wasn't clear about the fact I like cakes I now have a loaf of bread. |

It's not a good example.
It covers that you are less likely to get what you want if you don't say what you want, but it doesn't take into account why you might not want to say. |

Must admit I do shy away from contacting people on hear sometimes.
For me it's like if I was in a Pub or night club there's often a glance or smile that you pick up on, so know that your interest should be ok.
I think that's the idea of the "Wink" option but a lot of woman don't like it because it shows "little effort"
I spose The less pushy guys can get over looked
but would rather that than be a Pest lol.
