My nose is totally blocked , can't breath through causing mouth to become dead dry

Anyone got any cures !

Suck on a boiled sweet to avoid the dry mouth, head under a towel like over a bowl of hot water, so easy will clear airways.x

Cut an onion in 1/2 and put it in a bowl by bed . I have no ider why it's just what my mum used to do and it works lol
