Not sure why City fans are excited, they should have won the league weeks ago with the amount of money they have spent.....over half a billion pound and they have 3 trophies, that's a failure to me! |

Support Liverpool by any chance ?
The fact is, despite how much any fan might protest to the contrary, they would welcome such an investment to their club. Football clubs have been bankrolled by their owners for a hundred years, and many clubs have been their playthings. So in a sense City are no different, the scale of modern football is mind boggling though
At least the investment in the stadium, squad development, and facilities are awesome and almost a thing to admire if not behold |

I'm a Liverpool fan yes and no, I would hate my club bankrolled by a billionaire to have a little play thing, it takes away the meaning of a football club.
A club like Liverpool would be ruined if that happened, its different for City as they have been a mediocre club for a long time and the investment has pleased some fans. Same thing happened to Chelsea

"If Liverpool had not been bankrolled through the 70s and 80s . They would not of had a history to constantly brag about . Just saying "
My point exactly. Every club at some time or other had had a benefactor
Today the scale of things is just
ten or twenty fold what it was twenty years ago |
