I have pain at the bottom of my back, pain in tops of arms and legs could hardly get in the car to go buy pain killers..
They dont seem to be working...
any advice ?...

it hurts loads but i dont feel ill as in sick.. loads of pain killers but not really working..
have to be beer see if that does any good... |

Alcohol is the worst thing you can do.
Just go and see a doctor. There are walk-in centres in Spain. |

hosp visit. that could be a siezed muscle, trapped nerve, or an injured disc in your back.all cause rradiating pain. forget the beer, just get it seen by a doc. |

I'd ring the doctors and take a proper dose of painkillers.
If your prepared to still go on holidaythen obviously your health isn't a priority.

If you were sensible enough to get insurance then presumably you were sensible enough to pack your European Health Insurance Card, which you wouldn't have had to pay for and which will allow you free treatment by Spanish GP's and hospitals (be careful, some of the hospitals are Private treatment only so check they accept the card).
Cost of your treatment is then picked up by the UK healthcare system.
And has been said already, if you have private insurance then why not use it for the purpose it was intended.
On the other hand, don't bother, continue the holiday in a haze of painkillers, lack of booze and man up for the flight back to see your GP in 9 days  |
