"Seriously... WHY!! Do people choose "can accom" on their profile then when they actually can't!!
" A number of reasons, they can in a hotel, they choose not to accommodate everyone, so like to choose, clicked it without thinking........... |

Personally, if we put that we could accomodate, but then didn't want the person we were chatting to around, then we wouldn't suggest a hotel with them or for us to go round theres. |

"Also, so we're not misunderstood, we meant why do people put they can accomodate, but it then turns out they have flatmates, live with family etc... "
I asked one of the single man I used to meet that question once and he admitted that it got him more messages than when he said he couldn't accommodate. |

Obviously, we just think you should put that you can accomodate if you can the majority of the time, not once a month for an hour or two. Just our opinion... |

I tend to think Can Accommodate means they can more often than not. It doesn't mean they can accommodate me, or during a particular window of opportunity.
I once met a chap who wanted to meet me on the lane at the back of his house, not because he was worried about his neighbours seeing he was accommodating a tranny, but more because he was worried they'd think I was a lady of the night. I wasn't sure whether to be insulted or not... |

We have had this with single men. Who can't now accommodate because family have moved in. Or have a lodger. But we also get it the other way round. A couple who can't accommodate. But can. They use it to filter who they do want at theirs |

Spot on, if you can accomodate but only want certain people around, we'd say we can't to stop people asking, but tell people we are keen om that we actually can. |

We met a guy who said he could accommodate. We had to go round in the short time his family went shopping. He said we'd have to be cautious in his bedroom in case his mum dad or little brother came back early. We said no. One of the perils of younger men. Some still live with parents. |
