Regina Spektor had two dynamite albums with hardly a bad song on them in Begin to Hope and Far. Amazing voice and clever quirky lyrics.

Frightened Rabbits' album Midnight Organ Fight is great.

And the album I took my username from by We Were Promised Jetpacks... These Four Walls.

76:14 by Global Communication.

Look for it on Spotify or similar especially Track 2, the fabulously named 12:41.

Yes the titles are all track lengths.

This is chill-out music and I really don't do chill out music ... but this did it for me.

May I offer you 2?

Heavy Horses by Jethro Tull, a 1971 hippy folk rock album with some really class feel good (and maybe even a couple of tearjerker) acoustic tracks.

Optical Race by Tangerine Dream, 80's Instrumental electro rock.

Love pros and cons!

An angel on a Harley

Pulls across to greet a fellow rolling stone

Puts his bike up on it's stand

Leans back and then extends

A scarred and greasy hand

How ya doin bro?...where ya been?...where ya goin?"

Then he takes your hand

In some strange Californian handshake

And breaks the bone

and...

A housewife from Encino

Whose husbend's on the golf course

With his book of rules

Breaks and makes a 'U' and idles back

To take a second look at you

You flex you rod

Fish takes the hook

Sweet vodka and tobacco in her breath

Another number in your little black book

Classic Walters!

For something a bit obscure:

La Excelencia album 'Mi Tumbao Social' or 'Ecos Del Bario' the latter worth it for the song 'Maria' alone.

Its Salsa Dura (hardcore Salsa), the best live band I've seen by some margin. If you hate Latin tho best avoid.
