Custard is good with many things. I like custard on fig rolls, cherry pie, any form of fruit crumble, trifle, in a doughnut, stuffed in a profiterole and covered in toffee sauce...

I must admit i don,t think i,ve had gooseberry crumble we used to have some lovely goose berry bushes where we used to live we may have had some to long ago to remember our back garden then resembled a allotment the good old days mind there was some preparation in getting it all to produce continually fighting damn twitch growing over from next door and elsewhere along with s we had plenty of toads then as well none here but have frogs instead... |
