just irks me when somebody has bi on thier profile, or phone sex, or cyber, you post a nice greeting to them. and they block you for no reason, instead of your too old but thanks, sorry looked at your pic no chemistry im afraid. or some other communication of civility.

I really wouldn't let it bother you, life's to short. Courtesy is a great thing and should be standard behavour but don't expect it, it'll send you mad. - Mr. B.

I think most people, when joining sites like this reply to messages even if not interested. Unfortunately, the attitude of some when rejected (op not being funny but you come across as entitled to a reply as you share common interests) makes people wary. It's easier to block people you're not interested in rather than be bombarded with why not?!! messages or insults.

Brighton - even Hove!

A no reply on fab is the same as a 'no thank you' in real life. It's a but blunt but with a bit of time, you can learn to accept it. Worse for me is when I chat, she asks for a face photo, then nothing. I used to think 'oh no! I'm too ugly to fuck!' but now I think 'oh no! She's fallen down a well!'

it all depends whats in your message as well, one persons nice is another persons insult.

If for instance you had put any comments about bi fun in a message sent to me i'd have bloked you as well as you have written on your profile that your both totally straight. i would have assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that you hadnt paid attention to my profile and so would have blocked you. Why would i need to be civil to someone whos not bothered to read my profile or has double standards ?

personally if im blocked after ive sent a message i just assume that im not what they are looking for. no point crying over spilt milk.

I'm not trying to be insulting, and sorry if it comes across if im having a go, but hope it gives you some idea.

So it's ok if they are straight, and don't like phone sex or cyber sex then

I've just read your profile. Asking for bi in the forum and straight on profile? I'd block you as well.

This place is strange.

I have been blocked by people who were chatting to me for ages and having fun, even shared Kik.

I have been blocked by people I've met where we chatted after and were planning to meet again.

I agree, just being polite and civil is not expensive and there are people on here that are just that and been friends for years.

I would not get hung up on ay of it, just look forward and enjoy it.

I always reply whether it's a yes or no answer. I also respond to winks in the same way...saves a lot of bother and keeps my block list short!!
