I'm just going to have a glass of retro pop.

Shall I have Tizer or some Cream Soda?

Decisions decisions.

I never trusted dandelion and burdock - I've seen dandelions and they don't look fun to drink.

10p back on the bottle for readers my age or more!

Tizer now is not like Tizer of the olden days.

Back then it was all chemicals and additives and tasted good. Now it all fruit juice and water and tastes okish

Can anyone recommend a fruity beverage that would quench my first whilst there?

"Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango. He stuck it with the others and he danced a dainty tango. The rhino said, "I know... we'll call it Um Bongo!" Um Bongo, Um Bongo, they drink it in the Congo! The python picked the passion-fruit, The marmoset the mandarine, the parrot painted packets that the whole caboodle landed in. So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle, they all prefer the sunny, funny one they call Um Bongo!"

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Anyone from Cumbria of a certain age will no doubt have d*unk Marshs' Sass...made in Barrow in Furness up until about the mid to late 90's...the Pop Man used to come round on Friday nights in the 70's and our house would get our 6 bottles of Sass to see us through the week
