Titz Towers, North Notts |
There is a world of difference between my favourite films and those that I can sit and watch two or three times a year.
These I can sit and watch repeatedly, almost,
Zulu, The Eagle has Landed and The Invisible Man - Claude Raines obviously.
Whereas favourite as in I think they are really well put together: Downfall, Usual Suspects and Reservoir Dogs.

Oh and Cabaret ...
Joel Grey is amazingly dark in that film
A musical that touches on social and political history, homosexuality, prostitution, abortion, anti-semitism and greed.
All cleverly interwoven with the music and imagery so that the messages are so subtle as to go unnoticed by the casual viewer.
The final 30 seconds is so succinct yet so powerful in its message.
A classic. |
