Help with converting home video

I have a couple of sexy home videos that I'd like to get converted on to a computer format, without letting the tapes out of my site!

Can anyone help? I'm near Reading in Berkshire.

buy one of the usb capture devices about £20 play the tape and capture the files and you dont let the tapes out of your sight.

You can get various adapters but it might get expensive. I had a silimar problem with my old holiday 8mm tapes but the camera still worked so just had to buy the adapter to the pc.

Try buying a cheap second hand player or you'll just have to trust someone not to peak if you can find someone nearby.

All sorted now except for a couple of Video 8 tapes. I don't even have a camera to play them.
