One band I really wish I'd got to see live is Queen ! Still remember watching them open at Band Aid & wishing I was there.
INXS too - my sis was lucky enough to see them.
AC/DC - would love to see live!
Any bands/singers you wished you'd seen before they passed away or split up or are top of your "to do" list |

Saw Bowie, LedZep, Genesis, Floyd, Yes, the Who, The Stones, Thin Lizzy...most of them on one good year back in the 70's.
I would like to have seen Gary Moore, and more of Phil Lynott. Thin Lizzy used to play down a local poly and were the only band that could get a thousand loon-wearing hippie types up off their backsides and bouncing off the walls! |

"Van halen are still on my bucket list"
I saw the original line-up at Donington in '84, numerous times with Hagar over the years and I saw them on the first reunion tour with Dave in Ft Lauderdale.
Back in the day the only band that came close to them was AC/DC. |

Serious answer though, would love to have been at :
Winterland for The Band's Last Waltz farewell concert.
And/or Bob Segers at Cobo Hall for the Live Bullet sessions. |

"Otis redding and the 67 Stax tour
This!
Or MC5 at the Grande Ballroom, Detroit, circa 1969"
A few years ago I saw Wayne Kramer accompanied by Mick Jones and Billy Bragg play Kick Out The Jamms in a pub in Camden. I've been to hundreds if gigs in the last 25 years but that was a real highlight.
I've also seen Nirvana twice and fail to understand the pedestal they are on. Underwhelming at best. Though not as underwhelming as early Radiohead who I saw twice as a support act in pubs very early on and had only one decent tune.
Bands I'd like to have seen. The Clash. Joy Division. The Smiths. Fugazi |

Brother Wayne is my favourite guitarist of all time. Mick Jones is my second
I saw Mick with the Stone Roses at a Justice Tonight gig just before they reformed for Heaton Park. I don't even like the Stone Roses that much, but it's a good story |

"I'd still love to see Fleetwood Mac.
Good shout, think they're touring again."
It's not Fleetwood Mac without Peter Green. Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are dreadful. |

I shall keep a look out. I've never had much success with tribute bands . I left one gig half way through. |

"The Beatles my cousins went to Newcastle City Hall to see them I was too young to go they said. "
The best time to have seen The Beatles would have been Hamburg or the Cavern. Once they made it, they went downhill as a live band, because no one could hear them and they lost interest in performing. |
