Because come the revolution we will be the chosen few and there has to be a list somewhere. I'm a bit worried about the people using pictures nicked from the net though, they'll not be able to prove who they are |

Or people who are genuinely concerned about their privacy but just a bit misinformed. When we were new and had no idea about any of this we used it briefly and I bet loads of others did too. |

None of those disclaimers on profiles mean anything. If you put up a profile on what is essentially a public website, you're opening yourself up to it being abused.
There's no such thing as a disclaimer on your photos. It's just pointless, clueless bluster that makes people feel safe for no good reason.
Waste of time and effort. |
