What keeps you from contacting a person or couple?

I might have peeked at them when ive seen them comment in the forums, if its relevent, i will message them ie the couple who put a note on about mystiques, i sent them a message. I wouldnt comment if i was just peeking if they are too young or too far away |

Profiles with that stupid disclaimer:
"Any persons using our profile and/or pictures, including Sydney University...blah blah blah"
I mean, what the fook would Sydney Uni want with a faceless photo of some bird getting shafted on her hands and knees?
As soon as I see that disclaimer I hit the 'Back' button. |

Lack of picture of any kind on profile, single, profiles that say not interested in single men, or MF profile that demand a heck of a lot when nothing offered |

User name: especially if "69" included.
Height: under 5ft 11 doesn't appeal.
Distance: if the ice in a vodka and tonic would melt before I got there your too far away.
Text speak, moaning, married, badly thought out profile, desperation...

well as you told me, here's one of mine....lol, chatted with this guy for weeks,(not on here) took a chance on meet without his pic (duh!) said he was 35 & muscled, when I opened door I said
"yes why are you ringing my bell?,
he said " we have a meet"
I said, "no it isn't pensioners day!" goodbye |

no not too picky at all, or I as I would prefer to say - you use site the way you want to, the same as us all, but I do also say that we don't all want verifications ( that is purely for me , not a comment on anyone else ) "
I don't mean personal verifications, I mean the pic veris to prove a couple is a couple really - when it's a 'couple' with no pic verification and on the site for a long time that rings alarm bells with me. Z |

no profile or badly thought through profile, especially the ones that say "new to this, will fill in later" when it says they've been a member for 1yr +, or if they've sent a message that is wholly negative either towards themselves or others.

Since its predominantly single men I meet, pictures of them having sex without a condom on puts me off replying. Having questioned a few about this, the normal answer is, 'thats a pic of me and an ex long term partner'. Well that puts me off as well, cause im sure most of these 'long term partners' dont know their is a picture of them on a swinging site. |

Why would anyone want to contact a profile that has a list of demands or comes across as agressive?
you can easily describe what you're looking for and what you're not looking for without ending up with an angry profile |

oh absolutly 100%..... and the interesting thing is they are the people that normally moan and complain...
the ironic thing for me is when you suggest to these people it may be an idea to "soften" the profile a little.. they tend to get very defensive about it....

There are ways of putting across what you want without being aggressive or sounding like you have the high ground, we all know some People get lots of hassle but they could miss out on meets with nice Folk who have been intimidated by their Profile and believe that's how they will be on a meet, it's down to Personal choice at the end of the Day I suppose |

Obviously if I don't match what the profile is looking for, I don't send a message. But as many have said, the overly aggressive and/or demanding profile puts me off immidiately. The phrase 'ask if you want to know' or variations on that tend to put me off as well, it just seems so unimaginitive and lazy. But the main one that gets my goat is the profile that contains doodles made up of x's and o's etc. Now these may look good on a full size screen, but I use my phone to browse and it just means I have to scroll through a load of OXO, just to get to the main information! |
