football colours
Jump to: Newest in thread
we have noticed quite a few peoples profiles , yes do actualy read other peoples full profiles lol
we have noticed that a few are showing colours in their respective profiles
to be honest we dont give a shit who supports who
but we learned early on when we started swinging ,never to mention religion politics or football that way you would have a chance of a fun meet
as the 3 afore mentioned things can and have destroyed meets before they even get off the ground
what do you all think re this culture destroying subject ???

most people can have light hearted banter with football but i would agree about leaving religion & politics out of it.
I go most of my teams games & im sure if someone supported a rival team it wouldnt affect anything |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"Where i`m from football is more important than politics or religion !!
In certain parts of Scotland football, politics and religion are the same thing..."
Exactly - from my experience of Scotland where an 8 year old can't wear a football shirt to a birthday party at a bowling alley, I'm not surprised this question came from north of the border.
I'd also try and keep football, religion & politics out of here completely - but for selfish reasons. I wouldn't want to restrict my possible meets by any more than is necessary! |

Agreed there are some sensitive topics which are not very well suited for an evening where you intend to play with people you perhaps do not know well- having said that - I feel as long as one is respectful of other people's views - well that is just my experience |

"typical expected respnse from a non scot
it was a question in general not a scots other or other part of the uk thought
or is there a thing with north of the border and others aswell ??
"
Typical expected responce from a non-scot.... actually I think that is quite a rude response from yourself!
actually sharped dressed man did have a fair and valid point, that in "certain" parts of scotland, it is more rolled into the one general equation than it is in other parts of the uk, and to not recognise that is to devalue a rather interesting thread...
So before I get dismissed as a "yank" I'll put my two penneth in...
and how do i know this....
living in the north east next to an area that is half black and white, half red and white...
coming from "west ham" territory, being an arsenal season ticket holder, when some of my best friends happen to be spurs fans, chelsea fans...... although I don't like to mock the afflicted!!!
being at various derby days all across the country and yes, when a certain derby in glasgow takes place I have been in towns in the central belt where ya have blue pubs and green pubs.....
heck... I don't know what I am going to do on june 12th yet... haven't decided between an england ish shirt in newcastle, or a USA shirt in Edinburgh...
it is a game, and yes some people do take it seriously... far too seriously at times, but if you let that, or religion, or politics stop yaself for getting meets then in the end ya have to give yaself a shake!!!
heck me and wishys and craigs politics may be diometrically opposite but i respect them
and my tango princess may almost be communist... but i luffs her to pieces...
and my fellow liberal in kind jayne... mwah!!!!!
life is what happens outside... leave all that at the door... we are all here to have fun!!! |

I'm going to look back on this thread and wonder how the fuck I turned into Beckham trying to get a blowjob.
And then I'm going to worry about why you were so keen to help. |

Look into the eyes, into the eyes not around the eyes.
When you wake up you can bend it cos you are Beckham.

I don't know... the US this summer are wearing retro 1950 world cup strips.. and it does look really sweet.... I may well end up getting some classic and jumping on a bandwagon somewhere... |
